I woke up this morning not feeling so swift.i think vertigo is back.... anyway wanted to share on last  Valentines project that I did... found these can at the dollar store.... couldn't resist.... Cute Dollar Store Votives

As we finish off this week of Feb I will be sharing my last few Valentines projects with you all..today are these super easy votive glasses..I used a few paper doilies some twine...a old book page...the heart if from KISS Valentines set (but any heart in Kristy's sets would be perfect)....inked it up ..tied the twine and added a couple charms...battery operated tea lights and some glass beads (dollar store)..and ..voila'...files can be found at http://www.scraptasticalkreations.com/  ~Cathie SKDT

Monday Design Team project

And another Monday is upon us...back into the work/school week we go...again I had so much fun with all the new Valentines files that I will finish out this last week with a few more for you...these candy bags I made and gave to my kids (21 and 16) they look at me like in crazy but they also know me well.... Good Morning Ladies....and another Monday is upon us...Im hope our east coast friends are getting to dig out ...here in SOCAL...its chilly for us but warming up this week to the mid 70's... still waiting on my car... :(...and my surgery this week..but all is good here...my share this morning I have to say i do love how it came out....I saw Ruthie Nixon so these and HAD  to lift and give it a try....my take on altered mouse traps...(the things us crafters will alter right?)..i used the little love bugs file it cab be found here

VALENTINE'S DAY HOP

WELCOME TO MY BLOG AND THE VALENTINE'S DAY HOP

OUR ONLY REQUIREMENT WAS TO NOT USE

WHEN THIS HOLIDAY IS CENTERED AROUND THOSE

TWO COLORS.

BUT AFTER A FEW HOURS ON PINTEREST

HERE IS WHAT I CAME UP WITH.

THERE IS ALSO A GREAT PRIZE PACKAGE

ON TO THE PROJECTS.......

THIS FIRST PROJECT IS THE DOLLAR STORE

RELIGIOUS CANDLES .MY STORE SELLS THESE

PLAIN ONES AND THEY WERE PERFECT FOR THIS PROJECT.

ALL THESE CUTS ARE FROM THE SILHOUETTE ONLINE STORE

EVEN THE FONT

 THIS IS HOW I HAVE THEM ON MY FIREPLACE

ONLY THE "L" AND "E" 

GOT THE EXTRA HEART ON THE SIDES

I USED BLACK VINYL 

 AND SOME TWINE AT THE TOPS.

AND THAT'S ALL SIMPLE BUT IT MAKES S 

STATEMENT .

SECOND PROJECT AGAIN DOLLAR STORE

TWO SQUARE VOTIVE HOLDERS

SOME CLEAR GLASS BEADS

AND BATTERY VOTIVE CANDLES.

THE DOILIES I HAD FROM BEFORE  AND

SOME TWINE AND FEW CHARMS.

THE HEART IS JUST CUT OUT OF A OLD BOOK AND INKED IN

YELLOWS AND BROWNS.

(NOT REDS....LOL)

Good Monday morning ladies...yes its Monday yet again...i had a fun filled Birthday weekend.Back to the daily business today.Busy month coming up so I am glad I got my valentines goodness done and ready to go.
